Winter Park Resort has superb skiing and snowboarding for beginners to experts on its three interconnected peaks, Winter Park, Mary Jane, and Vasquez Ridge. With over 3,000 skiable acres, 143 trails, and 25 lifts, you could spend all day on this winter playground and never ski the same run twice. For those new to skiing, a visit to the SolVista Basin ski area is a perfect way to jump into the sport. More than half of its trails are devoted to beginners and intermediate skiers, and their guaranteed ski school accommodates children as young as three years old. Cross-country skiing is abundant in Winter Park, too, with miles and miles of groomed trails just waiting to be explored.

Several beautiful courses around Winter Park will make it tough to choose where to play. According to Golf Digest, Pole Creek Golf Course is the #1 place to play in Colorado. Its 27 holes offer three distinct golfing experiences: The Ranch, The Meadow, and The Ridge. Whichever you choose, the gorgeous views are sure to please.
